Waited 15 minutes for our menus and longer for our waiter to show up. The hostess had an attitude, sat our group at a table, only to move us 5 minutes later stating that someone asked for the specific table earlier. While the atmosphere was cool with an upscale lodge feel, the service and quality of food were poor and the coolness factor didn't make up it. I am sorry to say our dinner at Rails was a big disappointment. It is a beautiful place whether you are going for dinner or just for drinks to enjoy the music and wonderful atmosphere. There was also a solo guitarist playing music in the upstairs bar. It was a very nice space to relax and enjoy some music after dinner. They had live jazz music and the staff were dressed in roaring 20's attire. We visited the speakeasy in the basement for an after dinner drink.

Probably more inclined to sit at bar or lounge area on my next visit and order some appetizers instead of the full dinner experience. I will return to this restaurant and hopefully they will fix the problems. The restaurant is new so I understand they still have some kinks to work out. When the bill came we figured they would have taken off the coffees or comped us something because of the excessive wait time, but everything was on the bill. Anyway, when they finally arrived there were a couple issues with temperature of the steaks but the majority of the diners were happy with their steaks (they were good, but not outstanding). Our waiter kept telling us they would be arriving shortly but we kept seeing tables which arrived after us being served their entrees. Everyone at the table ordered steaks and the long wait was such a turn off. It took over an hour and a half from the time we finished our appetizers until our entrees arrived. Now for the bad news - the wait for our entrees was an unacceptable amount of time. All appetizers arrived within a reasonable amount of time and our waiter kept the wine pouring and the water glasses full. Other standout appetizers were the fig and bleu cheese pizza and the potatoes and sausage. We ordered several appetizers for the table including the seafood tower which had incredibly fresh, delicious shrimp, clams, oysters, lobster and lump crab.

We were seated in the library room and were immediately welcomed by our waiter who was attentive and friendly. Descend to our lower level and find the secret passage that takes you to our Wine Cave, and Thirty 3, a dimly lit speakeasy-style bar, with leather banquettes, semiprivate lounge areas, & handcrafted cocktails.
